PAKISTAN ARMY HANDS OVER JINNAH HOUSE TO CULTURE DEPARTMENT

To commemorate the significance of the birthday of Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah, the recently renovated Flag Staff House (Jinnah House) was handed over to the Department of Culture and Heritage Sindh by the Pakistan Army in a simple and graceful ceremony.
An ISPR statement said that Sindh Governor Dr Ishratul Ibad and Corps Commander Lieutenant General Muhammad Zaheerul Islam were present at the ceremony besides Sindh Chief Minister Syed Qaim Ali Shah and Provincial Minister for Culture and Heritage Sassui Palijo.
Representatives from Culture and Heritage Department and other senior civil and military officials were present on the occasion.
The faculty and students from Army Public School and College and Sindh Madressatul Islam also attended the ceremony.
Sindh governor reviewed the Jinnah House and lauded Pakistan Army’s efforts in restoring the important national monument.
