Major Zia ul Haque Shaheed S.Bt. (Matta, Swat): He was born on August 12th, 1975. He joined Pakistan Military Academy 95th Long Course in 1995 and was commissioned in the year 1997 in 16 Baloch Infantry Regiment. After completing company commander's course in USA, He was posted to PMA Kakul but he requested his GOC to send him Swat to serve the country there. On July 30th, 2008 militants attacked a position of security forces at Ucharai Sar in which Major Zia embraced martyrdom.'He fought brilliantly and sacrificed his life for the love of motherland. Rest in peace, Major Zia, we are proud of you!
