Pakistan Pak summons Afghan envoy, lodges strong protest

Pakistan on Monday lodged strong protest with Afghanistan over the Sunday’s cross border militant attacks that killed its six soldiers and wounding several others.

Sources said that dozens of militants penetrated into Upper Dir area from Afghanistan and killed six security personnel. They said the forces in the quick raply killed14 militants.

Pakistan called Afghan Deputy head of Mission in Foreign office and lodged a strong protest over the issue. 

Pakistan blames fugitive militant commander Maulvi Fazlullah, who it believes has been hiding in Nauristan province of Afghanistan , for launching attacks on Pakistani forces.

Maulvi Fazlullah feld Pakistan when army launched full fledged offensive in Swat.

Islamabad said it had been asking the Afghan government  to take action against the militants, launching attacks in Pakistan.
