The annual CAS Award Ceremony of Fazaia Schools & Colleges was held at Aftab Auditorium of Fazaia Inter College, Islamabad, says a press release issued here Friday.
Air Chief Marshal Rao Qamar Suleman, Chief of the Air Staff, Pakistan Air Force, was the chief guest on the occasion. The chief guest awarded merit certificates, cash prizes, medals and trophies to students, headmistresses and principals in recognition of their outstanding performance.
While addressing the ceremony, the chief guest expressed his satisfaction over the steps taken by the Training Branch to improve the quality of education at Fazaia institutions. He appreciated the high standards and congenial environment of Fazaia institutions. The chief guest lauded the efforts made by Fazaia faculty by reiterating that in the whole scheme of education, a teacher holds the pivotal position. He urged the teachers to realise their role as mentors of the youth and builders of the nation. He also advised the students that they must cash upon their immense potential and extraordinary qualities to set higher educational goals for themselves in their future life.
The award ceremony was followed by a colourful talent show presented by students from various Fazaia Colleges. The talent show depicted tolerance, unity and fraternity. The show was highly lauded by the
aduince.
